The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) is the third overseas campus of
the University of Nottingham and China's first sino-foreign cooperative
university. Located in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, it is a joint venture
partnership between the University of Nottingham and the Zhejiang Wanli
Education Group. All its academic programmes lead to University of Nottingham
degrees.
The institution holds a unique status. The Chinese Ministry of Education
considers it as an independent university. Meanwhile, the Chinese Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and the University of Nottingham in the UK consider UNNC as an
overseas branch campus of the University of Nottingham (along with the
University of Nottingham Malaysia).
宁波诺丁汉大学于2004年经教育部批准成立，是中国第一所具有独立校园、独立法人资格的中外合作大学，也是英国诺丁汉大学全球教育体系的重要成员之一。学校致力于培养立足中国、具有国际化视野且能胜任未来的创新型高级人才，面向国内外招收本科生、硕士研究生和博士研究生，注册学生人数9000多名，来自世界上70多个国家和地区。
